Prime Minister Prioritizes Export Boost and Industrial Production

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that implementing effective policy measures to enhance exports and domestic production of industrial goods ranks high among the government’s priorities. He emphasized these points during a review meeting in Islamabad focused on sectoral reforms and policy measures designed to increase investment and promote economic growth.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of promoting industry and manufacturing alongside increasing foreign investment as vital components for achieving sustainable national economic growth. He stressed that reforms across industry, trade, and various other sectors should aim at delivering long-term economic benefits and advancing public welfare.

Sharif also highlighted ongoing efforts to develop a comprehensive strategy to meet future energy requirements, particularly through alternative energy sources. He pointed out the necessity for a comprehensive and effective Electric Vehicles (EV) Policy to ensure energy conservation and affordable transportation within the country.

The Prime Minister called for all ministries to collaborate closely and harmoniously to formulate and implement effective development policies. Administrative transparency and optimal performance in reforms and initiatives remain, he noted, a foremost priority for the government.
