Prime Minister Praises ISI During Visit to Headquarters, Highlights National Security Challenges

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) today, where he received a comprehensive briefing on regional security dynamics and an evolving threat landscape. The discussions focused on conventional military threats, hybrid warfare tactics, and the use of terrorist proxies in the region.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, the Defence Minister, and the Services Chiefs. The visit emphasized the current security environment, particularly in light of India’s assertive actions along Pakistan’s Eastern border.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister and other officials stressed the importance of national vigilance and the need for coordinated inter-agency efforts. They highlighted the necessity of maintaining operational readiness to swiftly counter any threats to Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Prime Minister Sharif commended the ISI for its professionalism and strategic insight, acknowledging its crucial role in safeguarding national interests. He praised the agency’s contribution to informed decision-making in national security matters, especially under challenging conditions.
