Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone conversation with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, discussing regional hostilities and reaffirming Pakistan’s support for the Kingdom following recent attacks. The conversation underscored Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia, particularly in light of an attack on the Al Jubeil oil facility.
According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strong bilateral ties between the two nations. He condemned the attack on the oil facility and assured the Crown Prince that Pakistan stands by Saudi Arabia. The dialogue also highlighted the Prime Minister’s acknowledgment of Saudi leadership’s restraint during the crisis and Pakistan’s efforts in international mediation to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Sharif extended warm wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to peace efforts in cooperation with other countries. In response, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s initiatives aimed at restoring stability in the region.
