Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Tomasz Siemoniak, a member of the Council of Ministers and Coordinator of Special Services of the Republic of Poland, during Siemoniak’s official visit to Pakistan. The meeting focused on enhancing the partnership between the two nations, with both sides expressing a commitment to expand their relationship across various sectors.
According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the progress in relations with Poland and expressed a desire to deepen this historical friendship into a robust, long-term partnership. He mentioned the importance of leadership-level exchanges and encouraged increased interaction between business communities from both countries.
The Prime Minister acknowledged Poland’s backing of Pakistan in the European Union’s GSP Plus scheme and conveyed his optimism about further strengthening ties. The discussions also included an exchange of views on key regional and international issues, particularly in the Middle East. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized dialogue and diplomacy as essential for resolving regional tensions and reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to fostering peace and stability in the area.
