Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, discussing regional and international issues. Both leaders emphasized the importance of continued coordination and dialogue among regional stakeholders.
According to Press Information Department, during their conversation, Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude towards Qatar’s leadership for supporting Pakistan’s peace initiatives. The leaders discussed Qatar’s role in fostering regional diplomacy and consensus building for mediation efforts. They agreed on maintaining high-level contacts to ensure the implementation of their dialogue outcomes.
Prime Minister Sharif also extended his greetings to the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and expressed anticipation for an upcoming official visit by the Amir to Pakistan.
