Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed national pride in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) during his message on the occasion of PAF Day, commending their historical bravery and professional commitment.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted the significant achievements of the PAF on this notable day. He recalled the pivotal moment on the same date in 1965 when the PAF, despite being outnumbered, thwarted the adversary’s aggressive plans. He particularly mentioned the heroics of M. M. Alam who famously downed five enemy aircraft within a minute, breaking their arrogance decisively.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the PAF’s role in maintaining the nation’s airspace security, underscoring their unwavering determination and valor which, he noted, continue to fortify Pakistan. Additionally, the Prime Minister took to his X social media platform to praise the Air Force’s exceptional service and prowess, ensuring that the country’s skies remain protected.
