Islamabad, September 03, 2021 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Imran Khan has emphasized on using locally available raw material in the construction sector to boost various industries linked with the construction and housing field. Addressing a ceremony of Pakistan Property, Housing, and Construction Expo 2021 in Islamabad on Friday, he said the government will extend every possible support to the manufacturing sector to use locally available raw material.
The Prime Minister said more incentives are being provided to the construction sector and in this regard we are introducing reforms in FBR. The Prime Minister said a country can only grow when its youth gets employment and construction sector has the potential for job creation. He said development in this sector will not only help in wealth creation but repaying the national debt as well.
Regretting over the policies of previous regimes that neglected our export sector, he said we aim to enhance our exports to 30 billion dollars. He also urged the business community to help the government by paying tax. The three-day expo that will continue till Sunday is aimed at providing investment opportunities for construction sector.
