Prime Minister expresses condolence on demise of anti-apartheid activist Desmond Tutu 

Islamabad, December 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his condolence on the demise of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a Nobel Laureate and close confidant of Nelson Mandela. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said Archbishop Desmond Tutu was an icon of anti-apartheid struggle and champion of human rights.

He said Tutu’s critical role in liberation and national reconciliation is an inspiration for future generations. Archbishop Desmond Tutu was a prominent South African figure who played an important role in bringing an end to apartheid in the country. He passed away at Cape Town, South Africa yesterday at the age of 90.
