Islamabad, February 21, 2023 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to minimize the load-shedding of electricity during Ramadan. He said this while chairing an important meeting in Islamabad today regarding transmission of power and load management in the summer season.

The Prime Minister directed to improve the power transmission system and take appropriate measures regarding the load management during summer. He instructed that all departments concerned should have a solid and comprehensive plan before the advent of summer season.

Shehbaz Sharif said it is a welcoming sign that share of local fuel and alternative resources is continuously increasing in country’s energy mix for power generation. He also directed for taking immediate steps to make Haveli Bahadur Shah Power Plant fully operational.
