Islamabad, December 31, 2021 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for running effective public awareness campaign about development projects launched by the current government. He gave these directions while presiding over a meeting regarding Punjab development budget in Lahore on Friday evening. The Prime Minister directed the Punjab government to ensure timely completion of public welfare projects with special focus on quality of services to general masses.
Briefing the meeting, Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht said the provincial government is allocating largest-ever development budget in history amounting to 740 billion rupees for projects of public welfare and civic facilities. Chairman Planning and Development Abdullah Sumbal briefed the Prime Minister about allocation of budget and status of its utilization for ongoing development projects in education, roads and health sector of Punjab.
