Prime Minister Approves Expansion of Educational Infrastructure in Sindh


Islamabad, In a significant move to enhance educational opportunities across Sindh, the Prime Minister has approved the establishment of several new university campuses and educational programs in the region. These initiatives, aimed at both boosting higher education and addressing disparities in educational access, were confirmed during a meeting with the Minister of Federal Education and other key governmental figures.



According to Press Information Department, the approved projects include the creation of campuses for the National Textile University, National Skills University, and the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design, all in Karachi. Additionally, a new campus for the Federal Urdu University will be established in Mirpur Khas. This expansion seeks to cultivate diverse educational opportunities and foster local talent in specialized fields.



Furthermore, the establishment of a new Danish School in Karachi aims to provide high-quality education to underprivileged students, ensuring equitable educational access. Complementing these educational advances, the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will fund a school meals program in Sindh to improve nutrition and enhance school attendance among students.



These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to promote educational excellence and skill development throughout Pakistan, reflecting a commitment to improving the education sector significantly under the current administration.
