Islamabad: In a resolute response to the recent deadly blast near a police van in Swat, President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the attack, reaffirming his commitment to eliminating terrorism from Pakistan. The attack, which resulted in the death of a police officer and injuries to others, has sparked nationwide condemnation.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari paid homage to the fallen officer and extended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families. In his statement, he characterized the perpetrators of such acts as enemies not only of Pakistan but of humanity at large.
The President underscored his administration’s continued efforts to combat terrorism and pledged to intensify measures aimed at completely ridding the country of this menace. He also expressed his wishes for a quick recovery for those injured in the incident, emphasizing the nation’s solidarity in the face of such violent acts.
