ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari expressed concern over what he described as irresponsible and aggressive rhetoric emanating from the Indian Government, warning that such actions pose a threat to regional peace and stability.
The statement was made during a meeting with Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, who met with Zardari in Islamabad.
Ambassador Jiang reaffirmed the enduring and steadfast relationship between China and Pakistan, referring to the nations as “ironclad brothers” who consistently support each other in difficult times. He expressed gratitude to President Zardari for articulating Pakistan’s stance and assured that China would continue to support Pakistan in its pursuit of peace and stability in South Asia.
President Zardari conveyed his deep appreciation to the Chinese Government for its unwavering support to Pakistan.
