Changsha, China: President Asif Ali Zardari visited Hunan Tea Group Co., Ltd., where he received a comprehensive briefing on the company’s operations and its role in the international tea market.

According to Press Information Department, Mr. Zhou Zhongwang, Chairman of Hunan Tea Group, detailed the company’s integrated model that encompasses cultivation, processing, research, marketing, and tea culture. The briefing highlighted the organization of ecological tea garden bases, production facilities, and distribution systems, which support both domestic and international sales.

The briefing emphasized Hunan Tea Group’s function as a coordinating platform for the province’s tea sector, linking growers, industry players, and research institutions with branding and market access. During the visit, President Zardari toured the company’s history gallery, observed a presentation on tea processing and culture, and participated in a tea tasting session.

President Zardari recognized potential areas for cooperation in value addition, agro-processing, and export development, inviting Hunan Tea Group to consider collaborative ventures with Pakistan. He was accompanied by a delegation including Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and several officials from Pakistan and China.
