CHANGSHA, China: President Asif Ali Zardari has called for bolstering industrial collaboration between Pakistan and China, focusing on technology, skill development, and joint ventures to enhance Pakistan’s infrastructure and industrial sectors. During his visit to SANY Heavy Industry Company Ltd in Changsha, Hunan province, President Zardari underscored the value of such cooperation for both nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for industrial cooperation, technology transfer, and investment in the engineering and construction machinery sector. President Zardari praised the comprehensive and advanced nature of SANY’s manufacturing operations and pointed out potential collaboration areas, including construction machinery, digital manufacturing, clean energy, and engineering solutions.

During the visit, President Zardari received a detailed briefing on SANY’s operations from the Chairman of SANY Group, Tang Xiuguo, who outlined the company’s core business areas in machinery. The Chairman expressed a willingness to pursue increased collaboration with Pakistan in the realms of manufacturing, technology exchange, and capacity building.
