Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari expressed support for the Banking Mohtasib, Sirajuddin Aziz, during a meeting held in Islamabad. The Banking Mohtasib presented the 2024 report of the organization to the President.
The report highlighted significant achievements, including the provision of relief worth 1.65 billion rupees to banking consumers over the past year. It also noted that over 20,000 queries were resolved against commercial banks during 2024.
President Zardari assured Mohtasib Aziz of his cooperation in ensuring the prompt redressal of public complaints related to the banking sector. This assurance aims to bolster consumer confidence and improve the overall banking experience for the public.
