Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari has issued directives to the Federal Insurance Ombudsman (FIO) to expedite the delivery of justice, free of charge, to insurance policy holders aggrieved by the maladministration of insurance companies.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting with the newly-appointed FIO Mumtaz Ali Shah, President Zardari emphasized the need for a rapid resolution of complaints to maximize monetary relief for citizens. He also recommended that the FIO incorporate modern technological tools to improve the efficiency of complaint processing.
