Beijing: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed profound sorrow over the death of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan, marking a significant loss for Pakistan. Currently on an official visit to China, President Zardari emphasized the late Prince’s substantial contributions to Pakistan’s social sectors, particularly in health, education, and community development.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, President Zardari noted that Prince Karim Aga Khan had revolutionized education in Gilgit-Baltistan, establishing high educational standards. He highlighted the Prince’s genuine affection for Pakistan, evident during his visits, and the launch of numerous projects that continue to benefit the nation.

President Zardari expressed his deepest condolences to the Aga Khan family and the global Ismaili community, hoping that the new spiritual leader will uphold Prince Karim Aga Khan’s legacy of service and humanity.
