Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari today expressed his profound sorrow over the significant human and material losses inflicted by recent torrential rains and floods throughout various regions of Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari issued a statement of condolence and solidarity with the families affected by this natural disaster. He has instructed relevant authorities to expedite rescue and relief operations in the impacted areas. Additionally, the President emphasized the necessity for preemptive actions to prevent further loss of life and damage to property.
He also called for the concerned administrative bodies to implement effective measures for the drainage of rainwater and to prepare for potential emergencies promptly.
