Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari extended his warm wishes to the Pakistani nation and the global Muslim community on the commencement of Ramadan, emphasizing the holy month as a period for spiritual growth and charitable acts.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari’s message highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a time for Muslims to embody the essence of Islam through increased devotion and service to Allah Almighty. He called upon philanthropists to enhance their charitable efforts, including zakat, to aid the less fortunate during this sacred month.
Moreover, President Zardari appealed to the international community and the Muslim Ummah to provide support to the oppressed people in Palestine. He stressed the importance of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the need for concrete actions to halt the suffering of innocent Palestinians.
