BISHKEK: President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan is currently in the Kyrgyz Republic for a four-day official visit, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for cooperation. The visit includes a series of high-level discussions with President Sadyr Zhaparov of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari’s itinerary features a one-on-one meeting with President Zhaparov, followed by delegation-level talks. The discussions are set to cover a comprehensive review of the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan, with a focus on mutual interests in regional and international developments.
Key areas of discussion are expected to include deepening collaboration in sectors such as trade and investment, energy, mining, agriculture, textiles, healthcare, and the digital economy. The talks will also explore opportunities in the halal industry, pharmaceuticals, education, tourism, and fostering people-to-people exchanges.
