Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has firmly vowed to eradicate the threat of terrorism in Pakistan, following a recent successful defense against a terrorist attack on the Bannu cantonment by the nation’s security forces.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari commended the swift and decisive actions of the soldiers involved in the Bannu operation, which he credited with averting a significant threat to national security. He honored the soldiers who were martyred in the attack, extending his condolences to their families and praying for the departed souls to be granted high ranks in the hereafter.

The President emphasized the nation’s deep respect and pride for the sacrifices made by its military personnel, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering resolve to continue the fight against terrorism.
