Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has praised the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its crucial role in defending Pakistan’s sovereignty during the recent conflict with India. During a visit to the Air Headquarters in Islamabad, President Zardari met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu to express his appreciation for the PAF’s professionalism and commitment.
President Zardari acknowledged the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Sidhu in modernizing the PAF and integrating advanced technologies that have enhanced the force’s operational readiness. He emphasized the importance of the military’s leadership in enabling a timely response to Indian aggression.
The President also reiterated the government’s support for the PAF’s pursuit of excellence and combat readiness. Air Chief Marshal Sidhu provided insight into ongoing modernization projects, focusing on future warfare strategies and the PAF’s operational plans.
During the recent standoff with India, the PAF conducted Full Spectrum Operations, employing multi-domain warfare capabilities. This included the integration of space, cyber, and electronic warfare, which contributed to Pakistan’s victory.
President Zardari’s visit aimed to boost the morale of the PAF following its success in defending Pakistan’s aerial frontiers. Upon arrival at the Air Headquarters, a contingent of the PAF presented a Guard of Honour to the President.
