Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred military honors on numerous members of Pakistan’s armed forces, recognizing their service and achievements. The awards, distributed among officers and soldiers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, highlight the contributions of these individuals to the nation.
According to ISPR, a total of eleven officers and soldiers were awarded the Sitara-i-Basalat, while four hundred seventy-five received the Tamgha-i-Basalat. Additionally, one hundred thirty officers and soldiers were honored with Imtiazi Asnad. The ceremony also saw three hundred seventy-eight officers and soldiers receive Chief of Army Staff Commendation Cards. In further recognition, twenty-three officers and soldiers were granted the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), one hundred received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), and one hundred thirty-six were awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
These awards are part of a broader effort to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication and bravery of the armed forces in Pakistan.
