President Zardari Approves Military Awards for Nearly 2,000 Personnel

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has granted approval for military awards to 1,989 members of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and Civil Armed Forces in recognition of their service on the occasion of Pakistan Day. The decision to bestow these honors followed the recommendation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, the approved commendations encompass a variety of honors, including 23 Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), 100 Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), and 136 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military). Additionally, 11 Sitara-i-Basalat, 475 Tamgha-i-Basalat, and 130 Imtiazi Sanad have been sanctioned.

Further distinctions include 175 Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-I, 319 Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-II, and 620 Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-III, each recognizing various levels of service and achievement. These awards collectively acknowledge the dedication and contributions of the personnel to their nation.
