Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have both praised the successful operation by security forces in Hasan Khel, Peshawar, which resulted in the elimination of a high-profile terrorist and several others.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari expressed sorrow for the martyred personnel and acknowledged their bravery in combating terrorism, affirming the nation’s resolve to eradicate terrorism. He offered condolences to the families of the fallen and prayed for the martyrs’ souls.
Similarly, Prime Minister Sharif lauded the joint efforts of the Pakistan Army and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter Terrorism Department in neutralizing terrorist commander Abdul Rahim and his accomplices. He paid homage to the valor of the security personnel, specifically naming those who sacrificed their lives, and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to defeating terrorism.
