Ashgabat: President Asif Ali Zardari has called for enhanced railroad connectivity between Pakistan and Turkiye as a means to strengthen trade, economic ties, and interpersonal relationships. This proposal was made during a discussion with Numan Kurtulmus, Speaker of Turkiye’s Parliament, on the margins of the International Forum titled “Interrelation of Times and Civilizations – Basis of Peace and Development”.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the two leaders explored avenues to further develop bilateral relations and increase the exchange of delegations to tighten the bonds between these two allied nations. President Zardari praised Turkiye for its steadfast support and significant role within the Muslim community, noting its aspirations towards becoming an economic powerhouse.
The meeting also highlighted the critical humanitarian issues in Palestine and Lebanon, stressing the urgency for the Muslim World to unite and address these profound challenges effectively.
