President Zardari Advocates for Enhanced Road Network in Gilgit-Baltistan to Foster Economic Growth


Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari has advocated for the development of a robust road infrastructure in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), aiming to enhance trade, economic growth, and tourism in the region. He expressed these views while meeting with a delegation from the Pakistan People’s Party of GB, led by its President Amjad Hussain.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the President announced plans to prioritize the construction of a cardiology hospital and a nursing college in GB to improve healthcare services. The delegation also briefed the President on environmental concerns affecting the region.
