President Zardari Advocates for Enhanced Opportunities for Pakistani Youth

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the need to provide better opportunities for the youth to showcase Pakistan on the global stage. His remarks came during a meeting with Israr Khan Kakar, the newly elected President of the Oxford Union Society, held in Islamabad today.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari lauded Kakar’s achievement, noting that his role as President of the Oxford Union could serve as an inspiration to other young Pakistanis. He expressed hope that Kakar would continue to enhance Pakistan’s reputation internationally.

The President also reflected on Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed’s legacy as the first Asian woman to hold the presidency of the Oxford Union, highlighting the significance of Kakar’s election from Balochistan as a milestone for the country. This event underscores the potential of Pakistani youth and the importance of providing them with platforms to succeed.
