President Xi Sends Congratulations to Pakistan on National Day


Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday extended a congratulatory message to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari in recognition of Pakistan Day, underscoring the enduring relationship between the two nations.



According to Press Information Department, President Xi acknowledged the efforts of Pakistan in maintaining national sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, while also contributing to regional peace and development. President Xi expressed China’s satisfaction with Pakistan’s developmental achievements.



President Xi highlighted the significance of 2026, as it marks the beginning of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen strategic communication and aligning development strategies between the two countries.



President Xi reiterated his commitment to deepening China-Pakistan relations and expressed his readiness to collaborate with President Zardari to foster a closer community with shared goals for the future. Additionally, Chinese Premier Li Qiang also sent a congratulatory message to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the same occasion.
