Islamabad, October 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):President Dr. Arif Alvi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s determination to completely eradicate poverty in all its forms. In his message on the International Day for Eradication of Poverty, he said Pakistan will continue its efforts for poverty eradication, development of its people and achievement of sustainable development goals.
The President pointed out that the problems of developing countries like Pakistan have increased due to climate change. He said the world community will have to realize its responsibilities regarding floods in Pakistan. The President said Pakistan has started different programs such as National Rural Support Program, Benazir Income Support Program and Sehat Card for poverty eradication.
