President of Pakistan Advocates for Enhanced Economic and Cultural Ties with Bulgaria

Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the importance of strengthening economic, trade, and cultural relations between Pakistan and Bulgaria. During a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Bulgaria, Mr. Modasar Chaudhry, at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the President expressed that Pakistan greatly values its relationship with Bulgaria and seeks to enhance bilateral ties in various mutual interest areas.

According to Press Information Department reported that President Alvi called for the exchange of political and business delegations to boost bilateral cooperation. He urged the newly appointed envoy to focus on establishing institutional linkages between the chambers of commerce of both countries. Furthermore, the President highlighted the potential for improving educational sector relations through collaborations between Pakistani and Bulgarian universities, including faculty and student exchanges. Congratulating Mr. Chaudhary on his appointment, President Alvi expressed his best wishes for the Ambassador’s future responsibilities in Bulgaria, indicating a strong commitment to expanding Pakistan’s diplomatic and economic outreach.
