Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi has called for increased participation of women in the workforce upon completion of their education, deeming it crucial for societal progress. The President’s remarks came during his address at the 12th convocation of International Islamic University in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting conveyed the President’s stance that the state bears the responsibility to protect women from harassment in the workplace. Referencing both religious and historical figures, Dr. Arif Alvi underscored the importance of women’s roles in various sectors and recognized outstanding female students with certificates and shields.
