Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday commended the security forces for their successful operations that resulted in the elimination of five terrorists linked to the group Fitna al Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operations, conducted at two separate locations, were part of ongoing efforts to eradicate terrorism in the region.
In their individual statements, both leaders emphasized their commitment to eradicating the threat posed by Fitna al Khawarij. President Zardari reiterated the nation’s determination to continue operations against the group until terrorism is entirely eliminated from the country.
Prime Minister Sharif echoed these sentiments, warning that those involved in terrorist activities would face severe repercussions for threatening the lives and property of civilians. His statement underscored the government’s firm stance on tackling terrorism and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
