ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their commendation for the security forces and law enforcement agencies following successful intelligence-based operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan regions. These operations resulted in the elimination of 32 terrorists linked to groups described as Fitna-ul-Khwarij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders, in separate statements, have acknowledged the professional capabilities of the security forces. They emphasized the need to counter the activities of terrorist elements allegedly operating under Indian support. President Zardari highlighted that Pakistan would counter any conspiracy targeting its peace, stability, and sovereignty. Prime Minister Sharif reiterated the nation’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and expressed solidarity with the armed forces in their mission to safeguard the country.
