Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their appreciation for the security forces following a series of operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province that led to the elimination of five members of the extremist group known as Fitna al-Khawarij.
In separate statements, the president and prime minister highlighted the skill and dedication displayed by the security forces during the intelligence-based operations, which not only resulted in the deaths of five militants, including their leader, but also led to the capture of two individuals and the destruction of a significant target.
The leaders affirmed that these operations would persist until terrorist activities are fully eradicated from the nation. They reiterated their commitment to defending the country and ensuring national security.
