Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their effective actions against terrorist elements in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan, highlighting the nation’s ongoing battle against terrorism.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders acknowledged the professionalism of the security forces in neutralizing the threats posed by extremist groups. They paid tribute to the sacrifices of Lieutenant Muhammad Hassaan Arshaf, Naib Subedar Muhammad Bilal, Sepoy Farhat Ullah, and Sepoy Himat Khan, who lost their lives during these operations.

President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif expressed their condolences to the bereaved families, offering prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks. They reiterated the country’s strong commitment to eradicating terrorism completely.

Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the nation’s respect for the security forces’ determination to safeguard the country, underscoring the ongoing support for their efforts in maintaining peace and security.
