According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi, in his New Year message, expressed his hope that the coming year would bring prosperity and stability to Pakistan and the world. He emphasized the importance of addressing ongoing conflicts and human rights issues in various regions.
The President specifically mentioned the situation in Palestine, referring to the ongoing conflict and urging that the plight of the Palestinian people should not be forgotten. He condemned what he described as brutal and barbaric attacks at the hands of Israeli forces.
President Alvi also expressed serious concerns over the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the need for practical measures by the international community to resolve these longstanding disputes in accordance with United Nations resolutions, underscoring the importance of these steps for promoting global peace and security.
