President Alvi Highlights Kartarpur Corridor as a Beacon of Peace and Love


Islamabad, President Arif Alvi emphasized the Kartarpur Corridor as a significant emblem of love and peace during his visit to the site in Narowal today. He remarked on Pakistan’s consistent efforts to welcome Sikh Yatrees, offering them all possible facilities to visit their holy places, thereby showcasing the nation’s commitment to peace and inter-religious harmony in the region.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the President articulated that the establishment of the Kartarpur Corridor demonstrates Pakistan’s desire for regional peace and stability through inter-religious dialogue and cooperation. During his visit, President Alvi was briefed on the various measures implemented to ensure that Sikh pilgrims are facilitated adequately at Kartarpur Sahib. He later toured several areas within Kartarpur Sahib, expressing his appreciation for the arrangements made for pilgrims.



The Kartarpur Corridor, serving as a bridge between Pakistan and India, allows Sikh pilgrims easy access to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. It stands as a testament to Pakistan’s efforts towards fostering a peaceful and inclusive environment for followers of all religions.
