Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized the importance of improving the affairs of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology to restore its esteemed status. Chairing the 49th meeting of the Senate of the University in Islamabad, the President called for action to fill key positions and streamline decision-making processes.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting led to the approval of Professor Dr. Rubina Mushtaq as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University. Discussions also focused on the formation of a Search Committee for appointing a regular Vice Chancellor, with a target to complete the process within sixty days. These steps are part of the broader initiative to enhance the University’s operations and academic excellence.
