President Alvi Calls for Resolution of Kashmir, Palestine Disputes in New Year Message

Islamabad, In his New Year message, President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized the need for the international community to take concrete steps towards resolving the longstanding disputes in Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine. He highlighted these issues as critical to promoting global peace and security, aligning with United Nations resolutions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, President Alvi’s message was directed at the Pakistani nation, the Muslim Ummah, and the international community, marking the commencement of the New Year 2024. He expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine, who are suffering under aggressive actions by Israeli forces, and called for immediate international intervention to halt the genocide in Gaza and establish a lasting peace in the region.

The President also turned attention to the situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, noting the severe hardships faced by its people due to the prolonged siege and atrocities committed by Indian occupation forces. He stressed the urgency for the international community to take practical steps in accordance with UN resolutions to address these issues, underlining their importance in the context of global peace and stability.

In his message, President Alvi extended his heartfelt greetings to the Pakistani Nation, the Muslim Ummah, and the global community, expressing hope for a prosperous, politically, and economically stable new year for Pakistan and the world. He concluded with a prayer for the coming year to bring positive changes on a global scale.
