Islamabad, Dr. Arif Alvi, the President of Pakistan, has called for a dynamic approach to effectively tackle the challenges to peace in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, President Alvi’s remarks were made during the inaugural session of the Islamabad Conclave 2023, themed ‘Pakistan in a changing world,’ organized by the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI). He emphasized the need for Pakistan to reassess and rediscover its vision amidst the complexities of superpower rivalries and the interference of neighboring states.

In his address, President Alvi stressed the importance of coordination among state institutions for effective deliberation and policy-making. He highlighted the strategic shift of Pakistan from geo-politics to geo-economics and pointed out the need for policies that align with regional and systemic developments, especially in light of India’s belligerent stance.
