President Addresses Parliament at Start of First Parliamentary Year, Stresses Unity and Reform


Islamabad, In a comprehensive address to the joint session of Parliament at the commencement of its first parliamentary year, the President of Pakistan outlined a vision focused on unity, reform, and proactive governance to navigate through the country’s challenges.



According to Press Information Department, the President congratulated members on their electoral victories and emphasized the importance of their roles in using the powers restored to Parliament to foster a robust federation. He reaffirmed his commitment to act as a unifying figure and stressed the need for comprehensive reforms across multiple sectors including governance, economic policies, education, and healthcare to ensure inclusive growth and stability. The President also highlighted the importance of improving Pakistan’s international relationships and securing foreign investments through favorable policies.
