Islamabad: A meeting of the preparatory committee for the upcoming international conference on girls’ education took place in Islamabad, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The meeting focused on finalizing the preparations for the two-day event scheduled to begin on the 11th of this month.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the conference titled “Girls’ Education in Muslim Communities: Challenges and Opportunities” will cover a comprehensive agenda. Key topics include discussions on the barriers to girls’ education, the social and economic benefits that arise from educating girls, and innovative strategies for promoting educational equity. The event aims to address and explore solutions to the challenges faced in advancing girls’ education in Muslim communities.
