Prayer meeting on Quaid’s death anniversary held in Islamabad

Islamabad, September 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): A prayer meeting regarding the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was held, today, in Islamabad under the chairmanship of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar.

On this occasion, the Hurriyat leaders said that the founder of Pakistan had said in clear words that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and no independent nation or country can tolerate that its jugular vein is occupied by the enemy.

They said that the enemies of Pakistan tried their best to make the creation of Pakistan impossible and for this purpose, they put obstacles in the way of Quaid-e-Azam, adding he was given all kinds of temptations, but the founder of Pakistan faced every problem with a smile on his face.

The leaders said, “The goal of all our efforts is the freedom of Kashmir and its accession to Pakistan. The Indian forces have been committing the worst kind of human rights violations in the occupied territory. Even today, youth, children and old people are being killed in Kashmir.”

They said the entire world is protesting but it seems that the Indian rulers are completely indifferent to the international public opinion and they are not ready to give Kashmiris their birthright to self-determination.

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK leader, Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal, in a statement also paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his death anniversary, calling him a great figure of the subcontinent.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam was a great visionary leader and the Muslims of South Asia fought for a separate homeland under his dynamic leadership and finally achieved it in 1947.

He said the cruel policies of Modi and the Indian government against Muslims and minorities in India and occupied Kashmir have proved that the demand of the Muslims of the subcontinent in 1947 for a separate homeland was completely justified.

He said Kashmiri people have immense love for Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Pakistan and they believe that Pakistan will be complete only when Kashmir is freed from the slavery of India and becomes a part of it.
