Islamabad: In a significant political gathering on Monday, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership, led by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and expressed full support for the government’s economic policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening the national economy. The meeting, which included discussions on the overall political climate of the country, highlighted the PPP’s crucial role as an ally in governmental affairs.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the interaction between the PPP delegation and the Prime Minister was not only a reaffirmation of the existing political alliance but also an opportunity to discuss new proposals aimed at bolstering democratic processes in the country. Prime Minister Sharif applauded Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recent presentation of the “Charter of Parliament” in the legislature, recognizing it as a significant step toward enhancing the strength of democracy and the Parliament itself.
During the assembly, members of the PPP delegation took the opportunity to commend the current economic trajectory managed by the government, signaling their confidence in the strategies being implemented to rejuvenate and stabilize Pakistan’s economy.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, along with PPP leaders Syed Naveed Qamar, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, and the Attorney General.
