Islamabad, October 15, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Energy Khurram Dastagir says power transmission in southern areas of the country has been completely restored. Talking to Media persons in Gujranwala on Saturday, he said an inquiry report regarding power breakdown will be submitted on Monday. Khurram Dastagir said the power supply has also been restored in flood hit areas. He said power generation from Thar coal power projects will reach 2640 megawatts in coming years. He said Thar coal is ten times cheaper than imported coal.
