Srinagar, February 03, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters with pictures of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa have appeared in the Kashmir valley.
Posters have been put up in occupied Kashmir ahead of the Kashmir Solidarity Day, which is observed in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan and abroad every year on February 5 to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The posters, appeared in most parts of the valley including Srinagar, thanked the people of Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army chief General Bajwa for effectively presenting the case of Kashmiri people at all international forums. Through the posters, commitment of the Kashmiri people has been reiterated to continue the struggle for freedom from Indian yoke.
The Kashmir Solidarity Day was first observed on February 5, 1991 when the entire political leadership of Pakistan unanimously expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
