Khuzdar: Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Yasir Iqbal Dashti, alongside Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Khuzdar Vadera Muhammad Saleh Jamot, conducted a field visit to review the ongoing polio campaign. The visit aimed to assess the progress and gather feedback from polio workers in the Faizabad area.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the officials sought a comprehensive review report from the polio workers and inquired about the level of parental support for the vaccination efforts. They also encouraged the polio workers and emphasized the importance of community cooperation in the fight against polio. The eradication of polio remains a top priority, and officials urged parents and society to maintain their support for the polio teams.
The five-day polio campaign in Khuzdar district involves door-to-door visits by polio teams, who will be administering polio drops to children over a span of two days. The initiative underscores the district’s commitment to completely eradicate the polio virus.
