Islamabad, February 09, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital police Kirpa police station team has recovered an abducted man and arrested the kidnapper, a Police Public Relation Officer said. He said that a woman submitted an application at Kirpa police station and stated that his husband, Akhtar Zaib was kidnapped by the accused namely Muhammad Asif. Upon receiving the application the police team started investigation and used technical and human resources and succeeded in safely recovery of the abducted person and arrested the kidnaper Muhammad Asif. Further investigation is underway.
IGP Islamabad directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in criminal activities. The performance of police officials in this regard would be reviewed on a continuous basis. No laxity will be tolerated in official duties, he maintained.
